I Don’t Need Your Money

Pernah suatu kali saya naik kereta ekonomi tujuan Jakarta Kota dari stasiun Bogor. Malam itu suntuk dan capek diobati oleh kedatangan sekelompok seniman jalanan (saya tidak akan lagi menggunakan kata “pengamen”). Kelompok itu terdiri dari gadis sebagai vokalis dan sisanya  para bujang yang memainkan bass betot, gitar serta drum versi akustik.

Dari segi penampilan, mereka terlihat seperti seniman yang biasa mencari penghidupan di transportasi termurah ini. Ah paling mereka akan membawakan lagu pop Indonesia yang biasa dan terkenal.

Ternyata dengan berani dan beda dari “biasa”, mereka menghibur para penumpang di gerbong dengan lagu berbahasa Inggris. Usut punya usut, lagunya baru saya tahu berjudul “Price Tag” (Tahu dari adik laki-laki saya, gaul juga yah). Lagu Jessie ini memang enak didengar, mampu membuat semangat. Lagu jenis R n B ini langsung saya cari dan unduh. Liriknyapun saya baca dan hayati.
